This policy outlines the terms and conditions for purchasing tickets to events at The Attic Comedy Club Southampton (The Attic).

Event Ticketing: Consumer Rights and Protections

We understand that attending events should be a positive experience. The Attic adheres to key consumer rights as outlined by the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA).

  • Fair Pricing and Transparency: Ticket prices are clearly displayed on our website and include all applicable fees and charges.
  • Accuracy of Ticket Descriptions: Event information, including date, time, venue, and performers, is accurate and up-to-date.

Refunds and Returns

The Attic offers a limited refund policy:

  • Full Refund: A full refund will only be issued if The Attic cancels an event with no alternative date scheduled due to comedian illness.
  • No Refund for Other Reasons: Unfortunately, a refund is not available for any other reason, including dissatisfaction with performer line-up, changes in performer line-up due to unforeseen circumstances (excluding comedian illness as outlined above), or personal reasons such as schedule changes or illness.

Ticket Transfer

  • Transferring Tickets: Ticket holders may transfer their tickets to another person.
  • Process: To transfer tickets, the original ticket holder must contact The Attic at least 24 hours before the event with the following information:
    • Original ticket holder’s name
    • New ticket holder’s name
    • Booking reference number
  • Restrictions: The Attic reserves the right to refuse ticket transfers at its sole discretion. This may include situations where tickets are suspected to be resold for profit or obtained through fraudulent means.

We recommend you only purchase tickets from authorised sources, such as The Attic website or official ticketing partners. The Attic is not responsible for tickets purchased from unauthorised sellers and cannot guarantee their validity.
