Southampton Comedian of the Year at The Attic Heat 3

Join us at The Attic to witness the finest up and coming comedians in and around Southampton compete for the coveted title of “Southampton Comedian of the Year.”

Heat 3, Southampton Comedian of the Year

The Semi Finals and Grand Final will be determined by both the audience and judges. The acts with the highest audience votes, as long as they rank in the top half of the judges’ scores, will progress alongside the judges’ top scorers. After all the acts have performed, each audience member will have the opportunity to vote for two acts on their ticket. The results, revealing the contestants who will move on to the next round, will be announced on the event day.

Additional categories with a trophy up for grabs for young performer (21 and under) and Rookie of the year (those who have only started gigging in the last 18 months). Please notify us if you fall into either of these categories. These categories will be Judged, from those making the Grand Final.

There will be 12 contestants in each heat and all contestants should prepare a performance of no longer than 5 minutes or risk disqualification.

Entry Requirements:

The competition is open to any non-professional act who’s been performing for 5 years or less and entries from character acts, musical acts and sketch groups are welcome. The only restriction is that all contestants must live in or around Southampton up to a distance of 35 miles maximum.

Advance tickets are £10. Availability allowing, £12 at the door.

7 pm doors. The gig starts at 7:30 pm.
